Bring your own camera for this exclusive workshop (limited to 20 people) where you will have the opportunity to work a professional photographer. You will come away from the class with night shots of Vegas, knowledge about camera settings for capturing images in low-light situations (perfect for the DJ wanting to learn to capture the ambiance of lighting at his or her own events); and even learn about all those photography terms – ISO, shutter and aperture.
1. Meet at 7:00 pm by coffee shop on first floor of LVH Hotel and bring the following:
- Ticket for the Walking Tour
- Camera (battery, memory stick)
- Flash (batteries)
- Tripod – (suggested, but optional)
- Camera Manual
- Money for Monorail (single ride pass $5)

3. 7:05-7:25 Camera Operations
- What are you shooting with?
- What are your settings on?
- What does it all mean? P TV AV M
- What is your ISO – why and when to change?
4. 7:25 Travel via Las Vegas Monorail – catch at LVH Hotel depart at Flamingo stop
5. 7:45 8:30 Walking STOP 1 – Fountains at Bellagio (capturing natural lighting – working with shutter) PLUS Group shot
6. 8:30-9:15 Walking STOP 2 – Caesars Palace (topic – using your camera without flash to take great indoor shots capturing beautiful lighting inside gardens – (same method for a DJ to capture lighting at an event)
7. 9:15 to end – Capturing Street Shots & Architecture of various hotels (working with shutter, aperture, ISO, timer)
8. Other topics as they arise and walk to other locations
